How is Event Nest different from hiring an event planner?
An event planner runs the event for you. Event Nest helps you find and compare vendors yourself: you send one request for all the services you need, compare the quotes, and choose. Your agreement for each service is directly with the vendor.
Can several people on our team use one account?
Not yet. Team logins and shared reporting are on our roadmap. Let us know if this matters to you and we'll keep you posted.
What if we need a service that isn't listed?
Mention it in your request or contact our team, and we'll do our best to help you find a suitable vendor.
How are vendors checked?
Every vendor confirms their email address and phone number, and our team reviews and approves their profile before they can send quotes. We're adding business registration and licence checks soon.
Is there a minimum event size or budget?
No. Whether it is a boardroom lunch for ten or a conference for hundreds, post it and matching vendors can quote.
Will we get a GST tax invoice?
You pay each vendor directly, so your invoice comes from the vendor, not Event Nest. If you need a GST tax invoice for your accounts, ask for one when you accept the quote, and check whether the quoted price includes GST.
Does it cost anything, and is there a contract?
Business events are free to post until 31 December 2026, with no contract or lock-in. After that we plan to introduce subscription plans for businesses, and we'll announce any change here before it takes effect. You agree terms and pay each vendor directly.
